MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WSBT) -- A woman recently pulled over in Wisconsin received much more than a traffic citation.
According to a post from the Milwaukee Police Department, Andrella Jackson was pulled over by an officer for not having her kids safely in car seats. Wisconsin law requires children riding in a car be in a car seat until they reach age 4 and 40 pounds, and in a booster seat until they reach age 8, more than 80 pounds in weight or more than 4 ft. 9 in. tall.
Rather than ticketing her, though, Officer Zimmerman did something amazing -- he purchased two brand-new car seats for the children, and Jackson's post says he bought the kids stickers and books, too.
"Thank you Officer Zimmerman for going the extra mile and going above and beyond your call of duty," the post reads.
