WASHINGTON (WJLA) - You may need to grab the tissues for this sweet story.

A Mississippi woman says her heart was warmed at a Walmart store last Thursday by the kind actions of a cashier.

Spring Herbison Bowlin posted a photo on Facebook showing a man counting his change with the cashier. She says the man's items had been scanned and he had been given his total when he "look[ed] apologetically" back at her and started taking out handfuls of change.

"He miscounts and starts to get flustered. Gives me a muttered, 'I'm so sorry.' His hands and voice are shaking," writes Bowlin. "This beautiful cashier takes his hands and dumps all the change on the counter and says, 'This is not a problem, honey. We will do this together.'"

Bowlin says when it was her turn to check out, she thanked the cashier for being so patient with the man. According to Bowlin, the cashier replied, "You shouldn't have to thank me, baby. What's wrong with our world is we've forgotten how to love one another."

Bowlin's post has been shared more than 14,500 times on Facebook and has 23,000 likes.
